Crown of Maine Balloon Fest

Amateur Photo Contest

During the course of each Crown of Maine Balloon Fest (COMBF), we host an Amateur Photography Contest and invite you to join us! 

Eligibility:

  • Photos must be taken during the most recent Crown of Maine Balloon Fest

  • Photographs must be taken by an amateur photographer

  • There is a limit of two (2) photos per photographer

  • File size must be at least 800k

  • Proof of ownership must be available upon request

  • A “Photo Contest Waiver” must be completed by the photographer (and signed by parent/guardian if photographer is under 18) and  signed “Model Release” must be submitted if photos contain any recognizable individuals

Submission and Selection Process:

To submit your photos in the 2022 COMBF Amateur Photography contest, please submit your entries using this online form no later than December 13, 2022. Entries will be judged by the Crown of Maine Balloon Fest Committee and selections will be based on the composition and originality of the photos.

 

Prizes will be awarded as follows:

Division 1 (ages 18 and up)

First Place: $50.00
Second Place: $25.00
Third Place: $15.00

 

Division 2 (under 18)

First Place: $50.00
Second Place: $25.00
Third Place: $15.00
